About Me
Growing up I had a love for putting pictures and words together. When I was in the second grade I spent countless hours in the summer drawing pictures by hand and writing stories about the characters I created. Over the years, I have enjoyed challenging, encouraging, and entertaining people.

My love for words led me to pursue a degree in English at UC Berkeley and eventually to learning several natural languages and programming languages.

I moved to Princeton, New Jersey to attend Princeton Theological Seminary. During the time I lived in New Jersey, I worked on a number of projects for the Bonner Foundation as an IT person including a web based reporting system.

After living in New Jersey for seven years, my wife and I decided to move back to California. I wanted to make web technology available to others, so I decided to create Blue Rivers to provide an opportunity for people to share their words and pictures with others.

Before the days of pre-packaged blogging sites, I coded Blue Rivers from scratch to cement the skills I had learned over the years and to try out some new ones. So many blogs look indentical to each other despite the availability of skins and templates. The unique look and feel of Blue Rivers comes from its unique code.

I currently work for ArcSource Consulting, Inc. To put it simply, we fix computers for a variety of clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide services a variety of small businesses including pr firms, advertising agencies and design groups. We have a special focus on architects and have years of experience working with the unique problems architects face. We also provide ftp, email and web hosting for a number of our clients.
