Grief Made Visible

Grief / A painting by Joshua Wait

Grief / A painting by Joshua Wait

I painted this piece after my brother’s death. I tried to capture both the feeling of sadness and my state of introspection. I tried to make my own internal world visible, my emotional state, so that I could understand it better. I hope the image brings some sense of comfort, understanding, or recognition for your own feelings of grief or sadness.
