Photos

The slightest breeze can cause a camera to lose focus on a flower or a beetle. The flower waves, the grass shudders, and the shot is gone. Tensing up doesn’t help. Neither does clenching the jaw. Macro photography challenges us to let go, focus on the present, and allow mistakes to happen. In the process, beauty emerges and the perfect shot almost takes itself.
